“Booking is paused as we edit our website, but still feel free to explore or contact us for questions, thank you.”

A guided, therapeutic-informed art and somatic movement practice for individuals struggling with self-defeating thoughts, patterns, or persistent low self-esteem—offering emotional release, self-connection, and compassion.

Nonjudgmental Observations:
Pause, breath and observe the internal dialogues

Emotional Immediacy:
Become attentive to feelings and sensations as they arise.

Raw Self-expressions:
Release unapologetic expressions, scream, cry, laugh, create.

Self-acceptance Embrace:
Wrap your arms around your body, soak into your spirit.

Honoring the ancestral wisdom of nurturing the wild, dark, naughty, chaotic, and messy aspects of ourselves.
Self-compassion grows when the body is listened to, creativity is given space, and presence replaces pressure.
Here, movement and art become the gateway to reflect, connect, unleash, and embrace your spirit.

Welcome, I’m Ariana Satchell, your self-compassion coach and somatic experience practitioner, with countless stories of my own emotional self-torture. Now with stronger roots in self-compassion, I dedicate my journey to helping others deepen and strengthen their own roots, so they can withstand any storm they face in life. In my life cultivating the roots of self-compassion is a lifestyle, meaning it is a daily habit and a soul practice that keeps my mind peaceful and my body calm. More about me
For healthy living, we must pause when we begin to experience self-defeating thoughts triggered by the world’s stressors, and have safe habits in place, ready to help us bring ourselves back into balance, strengthen our spirits, and build resilience. My offering, Rooted: An Embodied Self-Compassion Practice, does just that—book your practice with me. I look forward to our time together.

Cultivating the roots of self-compassion. A guided, therapeutic-informed art and somatic movement experience for emotional release, nervous system regulation, self-connection, and compassion. Creating space where nothing needs to be fixed—only felt.

The main focus is on using simple art materials (paper, pens, markers, paints, or canyons, etc.) to see deep personal narratives, process emotions, and strengthen self-compassion.

Beginning with a self-compassion creative prompt, you’ll have gentle guidance and emotional support as you later interpret your artwork, making insights and discoveries drawn from your inner world.

Don’t worry about finding the right words to say; prior art experience is never necessary. Use art materials that are comfortable for you, and if you wish, bring your journal to write.

We’ll begin each session with eyes closed, taking slow, deep breaths to pull your mind into your body and bring focus to the present moment, awakening the quiet wisdom within.

Focusing entirely on your body sensations, not on what you look like while you’re moving, but on the internal experience. You are here to wiggle, twist, shake, stretch, jump, and bend when your body asks, and to have moments of soothing self-touch.

Various somatic movements will precede and follow the therapeutic art segment of the practice, gently flowing between mind and body states.

Handle difficult emotions with greater ease, stop being so hard on yourself.

Validate your needs, motivate yourself with encouragement rather than criticism, learn to advocate for yourself.

Care for others and contribute to the world without burning out.

Feeling burnout, overwhelmed, stressed, or disconnected from your body or emotions.

Struggling with low self-esteem, self-defeating patterns, and complex feelings.

Seeking a gentle, unique path to cultivating and strengthening your self-compassion.

Needing a different approach from traditional talk therapy or supplemental support.
